Yes. Older houses near the square need slower, more careful prep than newer homes. We scrape and sand by hand, repair soft wood, prime bare spots and brush the trim and detail work. If your house is in a historic district or you are unsure, check with the City of Gallatin before changing materials or exterior details so there are no surprises later.
Both communities have associations with exterior guidelines. Pick your colors, submit them for review and wait for written approval before we start. We will give you exact Sherwin-Williams names and codes and can provide samples. Larger homes there often need a lift for rear elevations facing the golf course or lake, which we plan at the estimate.
