Rutherford County soil is heavy clay, and after a hard rain it splashes red-brown stains onto the bottom of siding, brick and garage doors. We pressure wash before painting and check for clay staining that would show through a light color. Lots near the lake and wooded areas see more mildew, especially on north-facing walls.
Murfreesboro Road and the I-24 interchanges get congested at rush hour, and freight traffic around the industrial parks adds to the delays. We send crews early and park within the rules of each neighborhood. Check with your HOA, if you have one, about colors and contractor hours before we start.
Local experts delivering lasting color and craftsmanship
La Vergne sits on I-24 in northern Rutherford County, close to J. Percy Priest Lake. Its homes range from established neighborhoods like Lake Forest to subdivisions built in the last two decades, and its industrial parks are full of warehouses. PaintPro paints all of it, about 27 miles from our Spring Hill base, with free estimates.
Lake Forest is one of La Vergne's older and larger neighborhoods, near the shore of Percy Priest Lake. Many homes there are older than the subdivisions to the south and west, and some still have wood or hardboard siding with painted trim. Hardboard siding swells and flakes at the bottom edges when water gets in, so we inspect it closely, replace damaged pieces where needed, seal the cut edges and prime before painting. Wood trim gets the same treatment: scrape, repair, caulk, prime and two finish coats.
Newer La Vergne subdivisions off Waldron Road and Old Nashville Highway are mostly vinyl siding with brick or stone accents, so the exterior work focuses on trim, front doors, shutters and garage doors. Inside, the walls usually carry flat builder paint that marks easily. We repaint in washable finishes and switch trim to an enamel that holds up to kids and pets. Landlords and investors also use us to refresh rentals between tenants, where speed and a clean, neutral finish matter most.
La Vergne's industrial side is large, with distribution centers and manufacturing along Murfreesboro Road and the I-24 corridor. PaintPro handles commercial interiors and exteriors and industrial coatings for floors, steel and equipment areas. We plan around shift changes, truck traffic and loading schedules, and can work at night or on weekends when a facility cannot shut down. PaintPro is licensed and insured, uses Sherwin-Williams coatings and backs its work with a written 2-year warranty.

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible job Lupe did on our paint project that included 20ft ceilings. From the beginning, the staff was very easy to work with and was very communicative. When painting began, Lupe arrived on time, was efficient, and was a pleasure to have around. Lupe kept everything clean and organized. The finished result looks amazing. We appreciate all of Lupe’s hard work and respect that he showed our home. We highly recommend PaintPro, and especially Lupe when someone is looking for a talented painter.

We were looking for a company to repaint the outside of our home. Paint Pro did an excellent job. Thomas and James couldn’t be more accommodating. Their crew did an excellent prep, paint and cleanup. We are very happy with the end result and highly recommend. Thank you.

I highly recommend Paint Pro! We could not be happier with the work they did on our kitchen cabinets. The transformation honestly exceeded our expectations. The cabinets look absolutely beautiful, and it feels like we have a brand-new kitchen. The woman who completed the work in our home did a phenomenal job. She was professional, meticulous, and clearly took pride in her work. What impressed us even more was her attention to detail after the main job was finished. She made sure the little touch-ups were addressed and that everything looked right before the project was truly complete. We had previously received a quote of around $40,000 from another company for a kitchen renovation, so we were looking for a more reasonable way to update the space. Paint Pro came in at a fraction of that cost and gave us a result that looks better than we could have imagined. From the quality of the workmanship to the final appearance of our cabinets, we genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. Our kitchen has been completely transformed. We would absolutely use Paint Pro again and highly recommend them to anyone considering having their cabinets refinished or painted.

Often, yes. Hardboard fails where water reaches unsealed edges, usually at the bottom of each course and around windows. We replace pieces that are swollen or soft, seal the edges, prime and paint. If too much of a wall is damaged, we will tell you so at the estimate and you can decide whether to replace that section before painting.
Yes. Rental turnovers need quick, clean work with durable finishes. We patch holes, prime stains, repaint walls in a washable neutral and repaint trim and doors. If you own several rentals, we can match the same colors from house to house so touch-ups are easy later. Send us the property address and move-out date to set up an estimate.
Yes. PaintPro applies industrial coatings to concrete floors, steel, railings and equipment areas, and paints warehouse interiors and exteriors. We plan the work around shifts, loading docks and forklift routes, and can work nights or weekends. Coating choice depends on traffic, chemicals and moisture, so we look at the space before recommending a system.
PaintPro is based in Spring Hill, about 27 miles from La Vergne. We travel there for free estimates and for the work itself, and we plan around I-24 traffic so the crew starts on schedule. Request a visit through the contact form and tell us whether the job is a home, a rental or a commercial space.
That is usually clay soil splashing up from the ground during heavy rain, especially where there is no mulch or gutters overflow. Paint over it without cleaning and it can bleed through. We wash the stains off before painting, and adding mulch or fixing gutter overflow reduces how quickly it comes back.
