Yes. Older frame homes need more prep than newer ones: hand scraping, sanding, wood repair and priming before the finish coats. We brush porch railings, spindles and decorative trim instead of rushing them. If you plan to change windows, siding or other materials, check with the City of Lebanon first. For paint alone, we can start once colors are settled.
Start with the association. Submit your colors with the Sherwin-Williams names and codes we provide and wait for written approval. Once approved, we wash the house, repair and caulk trim, prime bare areas and apply two finish coats. Many homes in these communities have tall elevations, so we plan ladders or a lift at the estimate.
Yes. Wood decks and board fences are common around Lebanon, especially on larger lots outside town. Sun and humidity wear stain out quickly here. We clean the wood, let it dry thoroughly, sand rough or flaking areas and apply a penetrating stain. We will tell you if any boards should be replaced before staining so the finish looks even.
